Responsible Tourism Policy

Ecotourism is currently the fastest growing sector of the world's largest service industry, tourism. Every year a growing number of visitors come to discover the many wonders that countries with a diverse biological, geographical and/or cultural heritage has to offer.

This influx of tourist import puts an increasing pressure on the environment we live in and makes it more difficult to follow the principles of sustainable development. We are aware of the fact that many tour operators and service providers are abusing the word “ecotourism” to attract more clients and ride the fairly recent trend of green oriented travel. In order to make a difference and prove our dedication to true green values we collected our rules of commitment to minimize the impact we make on the environment in the following guidelines:

- We leave only footprints or even less by following only designated trails in national parks and protected areas. We take only photos.

- We employ only educated and responsible guides who are respectful of the animal and plant life from which they make their living.

- To make your travels more meaningful we educate you about the geography, customs, manners, and cultures of the region you visit. We take special care about the information we give you regarding the natural environment and in particular the wildlife of the area you visit.

- We don't use or buy products made from endangered plants or animals and strongly discourage you doing so.

- We intend to patronize those members of the travel industry particularly hotels and lodges who advance energy and environmental conservation; water and air quality; recycling; safe management of waste and toxic materials; noise abatement; community involvement; and which provide experienced, well-trained staff dedicated to strong principles of conservation.
